France coach Didier Deschamps has revealed Kylian Mbappe could have a broken nose after sustaining the injury in the football match against Austria.

France got their Euro 2024 campaign off to a winning start with a 1-0 win over Austria. But were dealt a blow with injuries to two of their attacking players, Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann UFABET

In the case of Mbappe, his condition was quite worrying after jumping up to head the ball. And hitting his face on Kevin Danso’s shoulder, causing a serious nose injury and bleeding.

Deschamps said after the game: “Yes, he probably has a broken nose. We will see. Tonight is not good news. It affects us a lot, even if it is just a nose.”  

If the results of the detailed tests come back as Deschamps revealed. Mbappe will have to undergo surgery and will have to play in a mask for the rest of the tournament.

For the next match, France will have a big match against the Netherlands on Friday, June 21. 

Deschamps said. Deschamps is still hopeful that. Real Madrid’s new striker will have a successful recovery and be ready to play in the second group game against the Netherlands on June 21. But if he can’t, he will have to look for other options. 
“I don’t make assumptions, but France with Kylian is always strong. If it doesn’t happen, we will fight without him.” Deschamps said.
