Bayern Munich have decided to keep Alphonso Davies at the club next season. Despite the Bavarians risking losing the 23-year-old full-back on a free transfer in the same way that David Alaba did. Sky Germany reported on Monday. UFABET

Bayern Munich have tried to convince Davies to extend his current contract. Which expires in the summer of 2025. But the Bavarians’ offer has failed to meet the player’s demands, with many suggesting the Bavarian giants could consider selling the 23-year-old full-back this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of next season.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern Munich have now decided to keep Davies at the club next season, despite the risk of losing him on a free transfer in the summer of 2025. However, they still have time to convince the Canadian full-back to sign a new deal.

The decision also has implications for Real Madrid’s plans. As the Bernabeu were planning to sign Davies this summer. So the Blancos will have to adjust their plans accordingly.

Real Madrid are expected to start working on extending Ferland Mendy’s contract beyond 2025. And if they can sign Davies next summer, the Bernabeu could also make some money from selling the French left-back.
